Welcome – Martin welcomed everyone to the meeting, The meeting was well attended,with25 members present.
Report – MOF’s Hogmanay Raffle -
The Draw at Goudie’s was cancelleddue to Covid. Asit was required by law to have
the draw on Hogmanay as was advertised.Brian Connelly very kindly agreed at very short notice to draw the Raffle at the Spar @ 1pm on Friday 31st of December.
An e-mail was
sent out to members 1st Prize of £200.00 – winner Hazel Thomson
2nd Prize of £100.00 – winner
3rd Prize of £50.00 – winner Myra
Winners were notified on Friday
31st of December 2021 by telephone. An email went out 05 Jan to members. The draw was recorded for auditing purposes.
Sales £522.00less printing&prizes
made a small profit of £64.00
The members were asked if they wanted more prizes of a smaller value but they like
the idea of a big cash prize at Christmas time.
Charity Shop - Friday4
March – We were offered a second week consecutive week in the Charity shop, but the members felt it would be too much.We would greatly appreciate any donations for the shop or a donation to the tombola which will be held throughout the week. We know some of you have already volunteered your help in the Shop and said which days you will help; any others could you please get back to us with regard which day you wish to help if you can, as soon as possible. Thank You.
Informal Burns Supper 2022 – Friday 25thFebruary 2022, 3-course dinner at Goudie’s, and entertainment at £25.00 per personmust be pre ordered. Goudie’s are going to post to their Facebook page for non-members to attend.
MOF’s Annual General Meeting 2022 – At Goudie’s on Thursday 28 April at 1pm– Membership Fees are £12.00 per member per annum andwill be due at the AGM.Membershipcards will be available to collect on the day. Tea and coffee will be available.
Committee – Martin announced he will be standing down as Chairman at the AGM but is
willing if required to continueas a committee member. Stella has decided to step down from the committee at the AGM.
Committee Members required - We need a new chairman, a new secretary and up to 4 others to join the committee. Please think about of joining the Committee – why not come along to a committee meeting and see how we work, see if you could enjoy being a member. Next committee meeting Friday

A4 size is still £6.00 & the new smaller A5 size is only £4.00. and this is
ideal for posting to all your friends and family with just a 1st class

New Short Walking Group –please meet at greenside everyFriday at 10am 2miles approx.
– In January we were getting 3 to 400 hits a week please have a look and tell us what you think. We need feedback. To help us to improve the site.
Bus Trips – Unfortunately, the bus trip on 02 Dec 2021to theLivingston Designer Outlets and the Hollybush Inn had to be cancelleddue to numbers dropping to less than 15.
We will be keeping the costs at £20.00 per member & £25.00 per non-memberwe gave out a tick the box list,we will try
to get something organised before our next meeting!
Any Other Business:
Theatre Group – We have been asked; what is happening with the group as
we have tickets outstanding with the Gaiety theatre. We have been in touch with
the Gaiety and they have re- booked The Everly Brothers Dreamto the new date of Saturday Mar 19 2022, 7:30pm.
