Minute of MOF’s General meeting held on Thursday 6 February 2025 in St Oswald’s Church Hall, Cargill Road, Maybole at 1pm

Groups Update –
Walking Group – good attendance and all enjoying their days out
Ukulele – good numbers attending on Wednesday afternoons
Art Group – on average 10 attended, thanks to the group for their prints for the Christmas Cards which sold well, a few stocks left, these will be kept for next year.
Short Walk – doing roughly 2 miles, and visits to coffee shops as well.
Knit & Natter – at Cronse Street, good numbers on Monday and Thursdays.
Sewing Group – members doing various projects, enjoying the space in the golf Clubhouse.
Yoga – not on at present due to the tutor having had a knee operation, hoping to be back sometime in March.
Chair Yoga – members are meeting and using a video to guide them, this class is on at present 11am to 12 noon on Tuesdays. All are welcome to attend this class.
Camera Club – still ongoing, getting out and about, lately have been around the villages to capture the new statues that have been put in place on the Bruce’s Trail.
Out & Abouters – meet every second Friday of the month, last month was an outing to Irvine, next meet will be Friday 14 February, possibly going to Prestwick.
War Horse – Tickets have been bought for this performance on Wednesday 26 March 2025, in Theatre Royal, Glasgow, at 2.30pm. There are 2 spare tickets for sale. If anyone is interested in attending, please let me know no later than 1st March. Otherwise, we will advertise to non-members.
Charity Shop – This will be in The Gatherings from Monday 17 March – Saturday 22 March 2025, all donations would be gratefully received also a Tombola will be held during the week. Hopefully we may be able to set things up on the Sunday. If you are interested in helping in any way, please let me know so that a Rota can be worked out. Posters will be printed also posted on media
Craft Fair – the next Craft Fair will be held in the Carrick Centre, on Saturday 29 March 2025. 10am -2pm. A tombola stall will be held.
May Outing – suggestions were put forward as follows
Please let me know your preference as soon as possible so that arrangements can be made. Possible dates would be either Thursday 22 or 29 May 2025
Pantomime – King’s Theatre, Glasgow – Little Mermaid. 30 Tickets have been reserved for the performance on Tuesday 9 December 2025 at 1pm. Let me know if interested in this please
Membership will now be due at the Annual General meeting to be held on 1 May 2025
