Update on Groups
Ukulele – been out entertaining, also the group has made a recording, they have a few more dates upcoming in the year.
Walking Group – Still well attended at Culzean this week. Group meets at the Greenside on Wednesdays at 9.30 am.
Short Walking – meets on Wednesdays at 10.00am
Camera Club – also been out and about – visited Irvine, Culzean, Rozelle
Theatre – next outing will be the Drifters, if anyone is interested in anything at Gaiety please let us know.
Art Group -regular number attending the class, going well
Out & Abouters – going to Troon tomorrow Friday
Knit & Natter – ran the Gatherings for the Info Week in June, goof response
In Stiches – Steady numbers attending
10th Anniversary – meal at Wildings Monday December 7, 2026, at 1pm (this has been reserved) £10 deposit payable. Hopefully have an evening in the Town Hall perhaps early next year.
Outing in September - this will be a Mystery Tour on Thursday 24 September 2026, leaving Greenside at 9.30am cost £20.00. There will be a stops to cover food as there is no booked meal on this outing.
Charity Shop – this will be a joint venture along with the Brownies for one week in late October/early November 2026, date to be confirmed
Craft Fair -Saturday 7 November 2026, will be held in the Carrick Centre 10am – 2pm. Looking for some volunteers and donations for Tombola please.
Panto, King’s Theatre, Glasgow – Wednesday 9 December 2026 at 1pm - Tickets £35 and £40
Christmas Social – Wednesday 16 December 2026, will be held in Maybole Town Hall at 1pm
We are asking is anyone has Photographs from events with the MOF’s over the past 10 years, especially of people as opposed to views/scenes, to collate a memories book, perhaps containing folks no longer with us. All photographs will be returned to you.
Next meeting will be Thursday 1 October 2026 at 1pm in St Oswald’s Church Hal
